Fashion Photography, a personal journey.

When I try to look back at my formal experience or how I started, I like to think of my mother, an interior decorator who abandoned her career to dedicate full time to raising me. She had fashion magazines all around the house and would paint the walls so often in different styles that would change like the weather. She made her own purses and dresses, and she crafted and created wood furniture. She dressed me in such a different way than the rest; I didn't appreciate it at the time, but looking back at it now, I can tell, thanks to her, I'm able to be who I am now.
I got my first professional camera when I turned 15. I would take it to school and take pictures of my friends and learned everything there was about manual setup and manual focus.
I was 15 years old, having fun, creating. In my Ecuadorian high school, there was no photography class, but I was learning during recess. Little did I know, this was a dream I would still pursue 14 years later.
I won a university scholarship by making a short film. I studied Audiovisual and Multimedia Communications, where I learned marketing, graphic design, video production, live streaming, website design, and anything else related to digital design. I ended up working mostly as a graphic designer. I still got to make some cool projects for my university classes.

Photography became a hobby, a tool. Fashion has always been in the back of my mind, but in Ecuador, there was not an industry that allowed me to make a living while following that dream. I ended up doing food styling, designing menus, and creating social graphics for a restaurant chain. I was able to survive by creating beautiful content, and that's the path I want to walk in this life.
In 2020, after arriving in the USA, I began working as a graphic designer, setting aside my photography career. I continued to participate in events and strived to contribute more to my employers, as I was very eager to pursue this path.
At Kastel Denmark, I initially worked as a CAD designer, focusing on clothing design and print manufacturing. Eventually, I took on the role of managing their social media and creating all their content. I am truly grateful for the opportunity they gave me to showcase my skills. I not only took photographs but also produced more video content.
I couldn't stop there; I made my own photography studio from my living room, and until today, I keep creating fashion experiences. Here are some recent pictures taken in my little at-home studio:
If you got all the way to the end, I just want to thank you for your time, for getting to know me. I'm young, but I do have a lot of experience, and I'm hopeful you will be able to see me as someone who will give it his all for you. I love fashion, and it has always been a dream I want to follow. I want to stay on this track, and I won't give up. I hope you understand my ambition is mostly about creating and making the best graphic, the best picture, the most beautiful message. I take pride in my work and hope you get to trust me in making those ideas come true.
